Outstanding. That is one of the largest peacock bass I have ever seen.
ReplyDeleteI love the vertical shot of the peacock release.
Thanks Brent! I can't seem to catch a peacock w/o photographing it. Those big peacocks act like mobsters and look like clowns! Thanks again for commenting!

Nice set of photos, Scott. One of these trips you need to document all the different kinds of fish. Although I'm kinda partial to the birds and other stuff. No monkeys this trip? No hand feeding Bob the Caiman?
ReplyDeleteMaybe that should be our mission next year Doug! We'll document all the species!
ReplyDeleteNow that my no-see-um bites are gone, I can't wait!! Bob (Rex) was in deeper water so no hand feeding!! I saw spider and capucin and heard howlers everyday!
'Rex' was the big 17 foot caiman that hung out in front of the lodge and would come in and lay her nose on the beach when the boats returned from a days fishing because she knew people would bring her a piranha or dogfish. 'Bob' was the caiman you guys were hand feeding borbaletas until it bit your boat and broke that weld on the motor bracket. Do I need to post a picture or two to remind you?
ReplyDeleteOh yea, now I remember Doug. Bob bit the boat, I'll find the photo tonight and post it! See what you've got and I'll post your photos too.
DeleteThat was one fun day we had with Bob!
