Last Day Of August...

Fished in the mountains on Sunday… It rained, it snowed, the sun came out, the bugs came off, the fish rose briefly, then it hailed, the fish disappeared, then reappeared…

Here is an unedited video… no music, no quick scene changes, no cool thump… it's just how it happened.

The sun briefly appeared in between storms. It was 41 degrees, yet this 17-18" cutthroat was eating bugs in a gin-clear eddie. It took me a few casts, but I eventually got a good drift. He ate my #20 parachute Adams… It was very cool.

Great way to say goodbye to August!
