A very innovative use of a wine cork!Fly Paperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08490565567184565469noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2181061678408323682.post-83650980404230444462012-12-01T17:50:53.771-08:002012-12-01T17:50:53.771-08:00Thanks Brent! Thanks Brent!Fly Paperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08490565567184565469noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2181061678408323682.post-2938318194929542132012-11-30T12:36:25.338-08:002012-11-30T12:36:25.338-08:00Maybe it's a subset of the "thinking hunt...Maybe it's a subset of the "thinking hunter", and tenacity attributes, but when I think of people I consider good fisherpeople I include "ability to adapt and willingness to experiment". Guides are constantly tinkering with flies and presentations and checking out different spots at different tides, etc. My buddy Jerry and I were driven off the water into the shelter of a cove by a storm. We were sitting in 15 feet of water waiting out the weather. Jerry thought about it for a minute and then lengthened his leader, tied on a heavily weighted crab, let it sink to the bottom and promptly caught a bonefish. Jerry was a great fisherman.Doug Jeffrieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06964780711233647604noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2181061678408323682.post-70254329249096455192012-11-29T18:54:43.198-08:002012-11-29T18:54:43.198-08:00This is excellent.
