FISHING UPDATE from the International Angler in Pittsburgh, PA:
A 50 fish day between a couple anglers is rare. A single angler catching 50 fish has never happened at Mars Bay Bonefish Lodge. Gene Furgeson landed 50 fish in one day in late February. The largest was 6 lbs. His hand was cramped and he had had enough at 48 but the guide talked him into catching a couple more to make it an even 50. (That's not counting the 15 that broke off and a few the sharks took.)
This stellar day took place on the International Angler's trip last week. It got so crazy that Gene gave Dingy (Mars Bay Bonefish Lodge Guide) his extra rod and Dingy got into the action also.
